Another oil painting completed this time on a traditional northern German house. A very charming-old-rustic home that I have so often cycled pass, featuring a thatched roof made of reeds. What was once probably owned by a farmer in the past, is now an architecture firm that designs modern houses & restores historical buildings. A wonderful way to give it a new purpose.
I have just varnished this piece along with the ‘Bay Near Deia‘ oil painting, which both are now being left to dry over the day on my balcony. Very soon they will be ready to be packed away nicely and being delivered to their new owners.
It sure is a lovely one.
wow, that is a beautiful house. I really like how the trees in the foreground partially obscure the house but still leave most of it visible.
